How to Update Shopify Entries in cPanel

1: Log in to cPanel.

2: Locate the “Zone Editor” feature in cPanel and click on it.

3: Click the “Manage” button next to the domain you wish to update.

4: Add or update the A Record, click the Edit button next to the A record, enter Shopify (or your provider’s) IP address, and save the changes.

5: Update the CNAME Record, click the Edit button next to the CNAME record, enter Shopify (or your provider’s) CNAME, and save the changes.

6: Configure the MX Records for email to route the email with server, click the Edit button next to the MX entry, enter “mail.domainname.com” (replace domainname.com with your actual domain) in "Destination" section, and save the changes.

7: Adjust the email entry, and change the email CNAME to an A Record by selecting it from the highlighted red square. Enter your hosting IP address in the field provided. If you wish to use hosting emails, locate the hosting IP in the Zone Editor under other entries and can update it.
